What is UCMAS
UCMAS has about 6,000 centres worldwide and has helped over three million children around the world until now. Our core focus in everything we do is the children we teach. We take the time to get to know each child and their family, ensuring that every one of our students has the opportunity to thrive in the program, based on their strengths and weaknesses.
We have a child-centric approach in our abacus classes. We understand that every child learns at a different pace and in different ways. We give each student an opportunity to develop their skills in a way that best suits them, with guidance from our highly trained professional course instructors.
How the Program Works
Through a carefully designed curriculum of four progressive modules, children first master concepts on the physical abacus, then transition to powerful mental arithmetic, building calculation speed, accuracy, memory, concentration and all-round cognitive development.
Visual Arithmetic
Children learn to visualise the abacus and perform calculations mentally.
Weekly Classes
Engaging 2-hour weekly sessions with trained, certified UCMAS instructors.
Graded Levels
Every level ends with an assessment and certificate, so progress is clear and motivating.
